Handbuilt Butter Dish Workshop

Join me for a fun, beginner-friendly pottery workshop where you'll create your own handmade ceramic butter dish from clay!

This two-session workshop gives you plenty of time to build and personalize your piece.

September 27th - Build Day
Learn the basics of handbuilding as we shape and refine your butter dish from clay. I'll guide you through the process step by step, so no pottery experience is needed. You'll also have access to a collection of handmade texture stamps to add unique patterns and details to your piece.

October 18th - Paint & Decorate Day
Return to decorate your butter dish using a selection of colourful underglaze paints that flow like India ink and watercolours. After class, I'll apply a food-safe clear glaze and kiln fire your piece.

Your finished butter dish will be ready for pickup once firing is complete.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Class spaces are limited and materials are prepared in advance.

Cancellations made 14+ days before class are eligible for a refund, minus a 10% cancellation fee.

Cancellations made 7 - 13 days before class are eligible for a class credit or transfer to another available class.

Cancellations made less than 7 days before class and no-shows are non-refundable. You are welcome to transfer your spot to another person. Just send me their name!

For two-part classes, registration includes both sessions and make-up sessions cannot be guaranteed.

If High Country Art cancels a class, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another class.
