Build a Stein at Righand Distillery!

What could be better than making a handmade beer stein inside a working brewery?

Join High Country Art at Righand Distillery for a fun, beginner-friendly pottery workshop where you'll handbuild your own ceramic beer stein!! Whether you're a craft beer enthusiast, pottery lover, or simply looking to try something new, this workshop is the perfect way to spend an afternoon.

During class, you'll learn the basics of handbuilding as we shape and refine your stein from clay. You'll also have access to a collection of handmade texture stamps to personalize your piece before decorating it with a selection of colourful underglaze paints.

After the workshop, your stein will be clear glazed and kiln fired before being returned to Righand Distillery for pickup.

Cost: $95 + GST

No experience necessary!! Come ready to get your hands dirty, enjoy the atmosphere of the brewery, and create a handmade stein you'll be proud to raise for years to come.

Finished steins will be available for pickup at Righand Distillery once glazing and firing are complete.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Class spaces are limited and materials are prepared in advance.

Cancellations made 14+ days before class are eligible for a refund, minus a 10% cancellation fee.

Cancellations made 7 - 13 days before class are eligible for a class credit or transfer to another available class.

Cancellations made less than 7 days before class and no-shows are non-refundable. You are welcome to transfer your spot to another person - Just send me their name!

For two-part classes, registration includes both sessions and make-up sessions cannot be guaranteed.

If High Country Art cancels a class, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another class.
