KSA Amphora - Limited Edition Linocut Fundraiser

A small edition of 10 hand-pulled linocut prints created to support the Kootenay School of the Arts.

Each print is hand printed on Papeterie Saint-Armand paper, made in Montréal, and is signed, titled and individually numbered.

$50 CAD each - 100% of the purchase price will be donated directly to KSA. If all 10 sell, this little edition will raise $500 for KSA.

As a working ceramic artist, I believe deeply in the importance of schools and spaces dedicated to craft. They give artists the opportunity to learn through making, access specialized studios and equipment, and build communities around skills and knowledge that are passed from one maker to another.

KSA Amphora brings together my ceramic and printmaking practices. The amphora is a form that has become part of my pottery work, and this one holds three little fish. A bit of the imagery you'll find throughout my ceramics.

Each print begins with an original drawing that I hand carve into a linoleum block before inking and printing individually by hand. Because of the process, small variations in ink and texture are part of each print and make every one slightly different.
