Butter Keeper - Spot Prawn

This is a french butter dish, a new 'old' way to store your butter on the counter, keeping if soft and spreadable.

First you put a little bit of water in the bottom, then you place the butter in the lid. When put together it makes a space where you butter can't be touched by the air, so your butter doesn’t go rancid.

The red glaze on this mug is made using deer bone ash that I harvest myself and process into a powder. This works as an opacifier to help develop the colours in the glaze. Boy oh boy do I love this glaze.
