Coyote Skull Mug

Perfect for your daily morning rituals, or even a mid day pick me up. Just spooky enough to get you through the day.  

It has been hand painted with wax resist in the shape of x's around the mug to leave patches of raw clay for texture. Then it was decorated with a sepia coyote skull decal.

It holds approx 25 ounces.

The main body of the mug is 4 in wide x 5 in tall, the handle extends off the side of the mug.

This was fired in my new handbuilt natural gas kiln. It is manually fired for up to 16 hours. While firing the kiln I reduce the amount of oxygen making the glazes change and the clays go a darker richer colour. 

Each Mug varies slightly as all the items are handmade.
